The Minister of Internal Administration, Margarida Blasco, opened the door to discussion on the right to strike in the police this Sunday, November 3, with the issue demanded by the unions being among the points under discussion in the negotiations scheduled for January.
“We will begin on January 6th a set of reviews and It is a point that can and will certainly be on the table. At this point I’m not going to say yes or no, because it will have to be subjected to a study”, said the government official, speaking to journalists at the end of the first congress of the Police Professionals Union Association (ASPP/PSP), which took place this weekend at the Faculty of Law of Lisbon.
