DAPURPACUID – Ahead of the largest modification event in the country, the Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024, various activities continue to be carried out to ensure the success of the event.
Including what was recently carried out by the National Modificator and Aftermarket Association (NMAA) team, who visited the Ministry of Industry, at the end of last July.
At that moment, the team met directly with the Acting Director General of ILMATE, Ministry of Industry, Putu Juli Ardika to discuss the Ministry of Industry’s support for the progress of the modification and aftermarket component industry, as well as the implementation of IMX 2024.
In the meeting, Putu Juli emphasized his support for the implementation of the event to encourage the development of the aftermarket and component industry in the country.
“The Ministry of Industry fully supports the IMX 2024 event which always encourages the creation of creative efforts and the absorption of new workers in the aftermarket and component industries,” he explained.
Putu added that currently there are only around 1,500 business units engaged in the component industry. He hopes that in the next five years the number will increase to more than 3,000 units.
He added that the local component and aftermarket industry has the potential to grow to the global market if it enters the world of hobbies and interests.
Putu also encouraged automotive manufacturers in the country to participate in supporting MSMEs and local modification industries through IMX, so that they can grow and develop together within the scope of the national automotive industry.
On the other hand, IMX Project Director, Andre Mulyadi explained, with the full support of the Ministry of Industry, his party continues to collaborate on regulations to implementation in the modification industry in Indonesia.
For your information, this year’s IMX event carries the theme ‘Road To The World’ which will take place on 4-8 October 2024 at Hall 9-10 ICE BSD, Tangerang.
“It is hoped that this event will be a showcase for the creativity of Indonesian modifiers that can later be proud of and enjoyed by foreign modification lovers,” added Andre.
He will also inform about several achievements made in this collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, related to support in human resources and facilities that facilitate and assist modifiers in the coming years.
At IMX 2024, the organizers promise to present legendary automotive world figures and industry experts from various countries to share knowledge.
“They will share their experiences with modification enthusiasts, which is expected to make the aftermarket and component industry in Indonesia even better,” concluded Andre. (dpid/TH)
