One of the founders of the famous fashion house Missoni has passed away. It’s about Rosita Missoni. She reached the respectable age of 93, reports platform WWD.
Her husband Ottavio Missoni (also called Tai) had been interested in fashion for some time. In 1953, the year they married, the two set up a small knitting workshop in Italy. The Missoni brand later became known for the zigzag patterns in its colored knits.
The couple handed over management of the company to their children: Luca, Vittoria and Angela at the end of the 1990s. Angela Missoni became responsible for the design. In 2013, both Tai Missoni and son Vittorio Missoni died.
