The top manager made this statement at a meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, told sources to the publication Runet. The information was also confirmed by the head of the ANO “Development of the Video Game Industry” (RVI) Vasily Ovchinnikov and the co-founder of the multiplayer online game World of Tanks (“World of Tanks”) Vyacheslav Makarov.
During the meeting, Eiges presented a gaming console based on the x86 architecture. The console runs on the Aurora operating system.
“The day is not far off when we can get Aurora on the PC,” Eiges said, demonstrating the prototype at a meeting.
According to Vasily Ovchinnikov, during the meeting, Elbrus representatives also proposed using Aurora in devices with their processors.
Earlier, OMP began developing a mobile browser based on the Chromium engine.
