In Milan, a few steps from the Teatro alla Scala and the Fashion District, it opened its doors Molteni Palacenew flagship store of Molteni&C designed by the brand’s artistic director Vincent Van Duysen.
The new space, located in via Manzoni 9, is not just a classic showroom but a open and flexible placeconceived as a meeting place and showcase dedicated to the project in all its forms.
Housed within a historic building with an eclectic style, between liberty influences and neoclassical details, Palazzo Molteni is spread over seven floors for a total of 3,000 square meters of surface, thought of as a journey inside an imaginary one home of an art and design collectorthrough the various domestic environments, from the living room to the dining room, from the kitchen to the bedroom.
The works of art and the design pieces enhance each other, in one experimental exposition formula that it goes beyond the concept of a furniture store and intends to actively dialogue with the major events that mark the rhythm of the city’s life.
The opening, which coincides with the brand’s first 90 years of activity, marks a further step in the group’s growth and internationalization strategy, thanks to the strategic position in the heart of the city. Palazzo Molteni is a unique ecosystem and a new showcase focused on high-level Italian lifestyle.
