New in iOS 18.2 is the Item Location Sharing feature in the Find app, which helps you find and recover lost items by easily and securely sharing the location of your AirTags or Find network accessories with trusted entities, such as airlines.
Initially, this solution was available only with two airlines. However, now this option is available from as many as 14 carriers. These include United, Delta, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Turkish Airlines, Aer Lingus, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Swiss International Airlines, Eurowings, and Iberia Airlines.
Representatives of Qantas, Virgin Atlantic, Singapore Airlines, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have announced work to support this function.
