From time to time, Apple expands the list of so-called old and obsolete products.
As of today, the list of legacy products includes the 13-inch MacBook Air from 2018 and the 13-inch MacBook Pro from 2017 and 2018.
The list of obsolete products includes:
- 12-inch MacBook Early 2016
- 13-inch MacBook Air Early 2015
- 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro
- 2016 15-inch MacBook Pro
- 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display Early 2015
- 21.5-inch iMac Late 2015
- 21.5-inch iMac 4K Late 2015
- 27-inch iMac 5K Late 2015
Products are considered old when they were discontinued more than five years ago. Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers continue to offer repairs for these products for up to two years, depending on parts availability.
