Walloon companies are, as in recent years, more numerous at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas than Flemish startups. The CES opens the exhibition floor today.
In contrast to the Flemish and Brussels export agencies Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and hub.brussels, their Walloon counterpart Awex still invests in a group stand.
About twenty Walloon companies from numerous sectors are exhibiting at the CES, a record according to Awex. Hub.brussels accompanies six Brussels companies.
According to Datanews, the Flemish companies and institutes present include research center Imec, Ivex (software for self-driving cars) and Segments.ai (data tool with AI) from Leuven. The Antwerp Moonbird (respirator) and the Mechelen Spectricity (miniature image sensor) are also participating again.
