Most Views: Instagram expands insights

At first glance, the dashboard shows five posts that received the most views within the past 30 days. It doesn’t matter whether they are carousel posts, reels or other types of posts. Using “Show all” takes you to a more detailed view, which initially shows all of your posts from the past month, sorted by number of views.

Detailed analysis by content type and time period

In the more detailed display you have the opportunity to narrow down your analysis further. On the one hand, you can either keep all types of content in view or, alternatively, only display the posts, reels, stories, videos or live videos with the most views. On the other hand, you can specify the period for the analysis – there is a choice that ranges from seven days to two years. In addition to the views, you can also look at the accounts reached or the number of accounts that interacted as key figures.

This new feature offers a practical opportunity, especially for those who do not use a third-party tool for content analysis, to find out about the performance of their content and make content adjustments based on the insights. Insights into important content metrics are now also available via desktop. The web dashboard can also be used to manage advertisements.
