Motorola has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. It was launched globally in August and boasts of some impressive features.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes with a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 3,000nits. The refresh rate can be adjusted between 10Hz and 120Hz depending on the content being viewed on the screen. The smartphone’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 ROM, RAM Boost feature that adds another 8GB of RAM which is optimized by AI.
In terms of cameras, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony LYTIA-700C camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 32MP front camera.
Comes with intelligent AI camera features from both Moto and Google Photos, such as Auto Enhance, creating an image effect that makes the image look like a film camera simulation (Tilt-shift Mode), helping to take better pictures in low light (Auto Night Vision), detecting smiles and taking pictures automatically (Auto Smile Capture), allowing the camera to capture light longer than usual, resulting in images that are special and different from general photography (Advanced Long Exposure Mode)
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G. It has a 4,310mAh battery capacity with support for 68W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging.
Price and availability
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has been launched at a price of €499 (around Rs 16,xxx). Sales will start on September 24 at 12:00 noon on Motorola India’s official website, Flipkart, and Motorola’s retail stores. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes in four Pantone-certified colors: Nautical Blue, Poinciana, Lattè, and Grisaille.
