Motorola Razr 50s: It might become the cheapest foldable of 2024 – What are its specifications

OR Motorola announced the 2024 Razr and Razr Plus foldable phones, also known as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, but now it’s bringing the Razr 50s which can turn out to be one of the cheapest flip phones.

The device has been spotted on Geekbench with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU or the same chipset that powers the Motorola Razr 50 aka Razr 2024.

The Razr 50s, however, is said to be setting the bar a little lower, and Steve Hammerstoffer of OnLeaks has just published all of its specs to echo that rumor.

These are:

Main screen: 6.9″ (2640x1080px)
External Screen: 3.6″ (1056x1066px)
Chipset: Dimensity 7300X
Memory: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space
Cameras: 50MP and 32MP (selfie)
Battery: 4200 mAh
IPX8
Android version: Android 14
Dimensions: 74×171×7.3mm / 74×88×15.9mm
Weight: 188g

Motorola Razr 50s: It might become the cheapest foldable of 2024 – What are its specifications

The only major difference between the Motorola Razr 2024 ( Razr 50 ) and the Motorola 50s is expected to be in the camera system. The 50s will not have the ultrawide sensor and will eventually be swapped out for a lower price. However, photos of the Razr 50s posted by OnLeaks showing the dual rear cameras make it look identical to the Razr 2024.

The Motorola Razr 50s will be announced on September 27. Given that the Motorola Razr 2024 costs $699.99 in the US, it’s safe to assume that the 50s will cost less and thus likely be the cheapest foldable of the year.
