MTS will train employees using digital avatars. They will replace lecturers

MTS announced the launch of testing digital avatars based on artificial intelligence. They will replace lecturers of educational courses.

The company is confident that this innovation will triple the speed of production and updating of lecture material. It is planned that in 2025 over 3 thousand people will undergo training through digital avatars.

The first product with a digital copy of the teacher was an online development course in the GO language at the MTS Teta IT expertise development center. Then it was expanded to a program for the development of regional HR teams of the MTS telecom business.

Innovation Center Future Crew developed digital avatars that reduce the cost of content creation and allow you to quickly create high-quality video lessons based on the lecturer’s text. Technology makes it easy to engage busy executives with just a short video to create their avatar. The avatar video can then be generated in any language without translators.

We actively use artificial intelligence to make our employees’ work more efficient and interesting; for example, AI assistants help programmers write code, prepare texts, search and analyze information. With the help of digital avatars, we can improve the process of preparing lecture material for employees.

Creating a video course can take up to four months; the process of preparing the speaker, filming the material and editing it takes the most time. The new technology makes it possible to simplify the production process, while course participants will be accompanied by experts they know well.
