- The X Network (Twitter) has announced an increase in subscription prices
- Users with a basic subscription pay the most
- It’s supposed to be a motivation for creating better content
Elon Musk after the purchase Twitter he took a number of unexpected and rather drastic steps. One of them was the introduction subscriptionwhich was primarily aimed at fighting bots and increasing the quality of content. However, various changes happen very often in Twitter subscriptions. About a year ago there was an expansion of its species, in the summer it came improvement of the Premium plan – and now Elon Musk has decided to price increase.
The subscription increase was announced by the X network just before Christmas. Those who do not yet subscribe to it, but are interested in it, will receive a higher price immediately. Existing subscribers will receive the increase with their next invoice. However, the increase is not the same for all countries. And somewhere it is a dizzying amount.
Higher prices in the app
The price increase is not the same for all subscriptions and you will pay a higher price for the mobile application than for the regular website. In any case, owners of the basic subscription will feel the biggest price increase Basicwhich is growing by 34% in our country.
Paradoxically, the best tariff is the least expensive Premium+which is ad-free and has full access to Grok AI – for “only” 17.78% on the monthly version.
And how much will be paid for X?
- Basic subscription (monthly) – CZK 67.13 (previously CZK 50)
- Basic subscription (annual) – CZK 712.83 (previously CZK 550)
- Premium subscription (monthly) – 179 CZK (previously 150 CZK)
- Premium Subscription (Annual) – 1,870 CZK (previously 1,500 CZK)
- Premium+ subscription (monthly) – 530 CZK (previously 450 CZK)
- Premium+ subscription (annual) – 5,500 CZK (previously 4,500 CZK)
If that seems like a big leap, don’t be mistaken. In some countries, the X network has increased subscriptions by leaps and bounds. An example is Nigeriawhere it rose by 365%. And for example in Turkey there was a price cut of 156%.
