A riot took place on Saturday night (26/10) at the Youth Detention Center of Volos, on Metamorphoses Street.
According to TheNewspaper.gr, prisoners set fire to the prison courtyard, while the mutiny also spread inside the cells.

Information indicates that the cause of the riot is the death of a 21-year-old foreign prisoner last night.
Strong Police forces have arrived at the scene, as well as ten Fire Department vehicles, in order to extinguish the flames.
