“My aunt’s brother has disappeared”

Carmen AlcaydeValencian, continue overwhelmed by what happened in her homeland. The television collaborator also announced on ‘Fiesta’ that she had just found out that one of his relatives is waiting for a missing person. Carmen Alcayde took advantage of the ‘Fiesta’ loudspeaker to make an appeal.

The television collaborator had related how she did not imagine the magnitude of what was going to happen: “We were uninformed or we did not know the magnitude, because I took the last AVEs that left from Valencia and I had sent the children to schoolthat the school is close to the affected towns and was open,” he explained. Carmen Alcayde added that now she does not know how to return from Madrid to Valenciabecause he also did not want to “crowd up the roads.”

Emma García then asked if everyone was okay and the collaborator confirmed that until now she had believed they were, but that she had recently found out that a relative had disappeared. “My aunt’s brother, the one who is married to my mother’s brother, has disappeared. He is Miguel Bordeos”he revealed.

Miguel Bordeos is one of the four great Valencian businessmen disappeared by DANA. “They went to eat like they always do on Tuesdays. They went to Chiva. I was talking to my aunt this morning and she was desperate. (…) The only thing he knows is that the GPS indicates that he is in the Chiva ravine but he does not know if he is there, or in the restaurant…”, he said.

Besides, Carmen Alcayde has highlighted the lack of information which made citizens unable to take all possible precautions.
