The police officer Paschalis Kallimanis was arrested in Thessaloniki by the Internal Affairs Service of the Security Forces of Northern Greece, as he allegedly tried to deceive the competent Health Committee of the Hellenic Republic with false medical reports, in order to obtain sick leave, abstaining from his official duties duties.
As Paschalis Kallimanis has reported in many of its reports, Zoogla managed to live in Mykonos and work at the well-known store Interni with consecutive sick leaves.

A private doctor is allegedly involved in the same case, but he was not arrested since the conditions for the application of the automatic procedure were not met.
A case file was filed against them for the – as the case may be – offenses of false testimony, the continuous use of false medical certifications, moral complicity in false medical certifications, for false medical certifications and the attempt to obtain a false certificate.

According to a Police announcement, a complaint was filed, according to which, during the official inspection, clear indications emerged that the private doctor issued false medical opinions regarding the police officer’s health condition.
More specifically, the police officer involved – according to the same announcement – using various tricks of his weakness or particular difficulty in moving, in order to avoid his examination by the competent Health Committee, invoking the false medical opinions, tried to convince the members of the Committee that the situation of his health he needs sick leave.
Under these circumstances, he was placed under discreet surveillance by a competent echelon of the “corruptible” of EL.AS. and his criminal behavior was established and he was finally arrested on Wednesday morning outside the Thessaloniki Police Station. The arrested policeman will be taken to the competent prosecutor.
Information from “Jungle” states that within two years he took 160 days of sick leave, where together with his normal days he reached a total of 250 days.
It is noted that a Greek-American woman with the initials MG in an interview in 2023 with Makis Triantafyllopoulos had denounced everything she had suffered in recent years at the hands of police officer Paschalis Kallimanis. He described in detail the illegal activity of the “organ of order” which also served in the security of the former director of the prime minister’s office in Thessaloniki.
