MyOn Company announced on the 28th that the ‘Future Tomorrow Work Experience Internship Project’, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and operated by MyOn Company, is ongoing from April to December 2024 and has contributed to supporting youth employment and resolving the company’s manpower shortage.

About 70 companies participated from major regions such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Busan, and Jeonnam, and a total of 6 positions were provided, including public relations and marketing, UX/UI, management affairs, and research and development (R&D). Major participating companies include ▲Anchorier, ▲Habit Factory, and ▲Alpha Brothers. This program recorded notable results by providing practical job experience to young people and providing companies with the opportunity to discover suitable talent.

MyOn Company conducted systematic prior job training to increase participants’ job adaptability and strengthen their practical capabilities. In addition to basic competency strengthening programs such as DT skills, soft skills, and interview preparation, the training course supported specific goal setting and execution through 8 weeks of planning. Through this, young people learned systematic goal management and execution skills and were prepared for practical work.

In particular, the Coffee Chat program was held more than 200 times and provided an opportunity for comfortable communication during the matching process between companies and young people. This alleviated the rigid interview atmosphere and helped young people naturally showcase their strengths. Companies were also able to check participants’ job suitability in advance and increase their adaptability to work.

The program’s performance is also confirmed in quantitative results. The employment readiness of participating young people increased from an average of 2.47 points (out of 5) before the program to more than 40% after the program ended. The dropout rate was very low at 3%, and both companies and youth showed high levels of satisfaction, proving the successful operation of the program.

An official from MyOnCompany said, “This program focuses on restoring confidence in young people and preventing them from giving up looking for work, while at the same time connecting companies with talented people who have proven suitability for the job.” He added, “We will continue to work hard to provide youth employment and resolve corporate manpower shortages.” “We will continue to operate innovative programs for this purpose.”

Meanwhile, MyOn Company is operating the ‘Intern 10: Experience-like new recruit training (UX/UI)’ program as part of the ‘Future Tomorrow Experience ESG Support Project’. This program provides young people with the opportunity to develop practical and problem-solving skills through a virtual company environment, and companies are creating sustainable ESG solutions based on creative ideas. Through this, MyOn Company is contributing to the realization of ESG by providing a stepping stone for growth to young people and the value of innovation to companies.
