Bigger screens but thinner and lighter construction if the latest information proves to be correct.
In addition to Samsung’s two new foldables – Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 – in recent months, traces of another foldable of the supposed Fold model have appeared. It has been unofficially called the Galaxy Z Fold Slim and Galaxy Z Fold Ultra alternately, but has yet to be announced by Samsung. Now the leaker has Ice Universe via the publication IThome published more alleged details about this mystery mobile.
According to the information, it is a Galaxy Z Fold Slim that will use a titanium construction to be thinner and lighter than the existing Fold 6 model. It should also have an external screen with the same screen ratio as the Galaxy S24 Ultra (19.5:9) but be slightly smaller, more precisely 6.5 inches. The foldable inner screen, on the other hand, should be 8 inches. It can be compared to the regular Fold 6 model whose screens are 6.3 and 7.6 inches, respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Slim is said to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024 and is said to get an international launch.
