NASA releases unique images of what is happening in Morocco

NASAthrough the use of advanced technology, has captured a series of images in which you can see the snowfall in several regions of Morocco from the month of December to January 2.

Specifically, snow makes an appearance in the photographs in the form of a bright cyan colorproviding a striking contrast with the usual tones of the North African country’s landscape.

As reported by the Moroccan media News.Moroccothe aforementioned images have been taken using the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suitea tool that uses advanced reflectivity techniques.

As explained by NASA, the cold air masses from northern Europe have been responsible for the snowfall recorded in Morocco, which has reached between 35 and 40 centimeters thick in some mountainous areas.

This meteorological change is a good news for Moroccogiven that After six seasons of drought, rain and snow offer hope to the agricultural sector. In fact, rainfall between September and December 2024 has practically doubled that of the same period of the previous year.
