Navigation on rivers and canals will be closed in St. Petersburg from November 15

An exception will be made only for some ships.

From November 15, navigation for small vessels will be closed in St. Petersburg. This was reported to the city transport committee.

It is noted that the ban will not affect small special-purpose vessels, those used to ensure the safety of navigation, those involved in emergency rescue activities that carry out repairs of city property, and fishing vessels.

A vessel is considered small if its length does not exceed 20 m and no more than 12 people can board.
