The Ukrainian army, despite its large stockpiles of weapons, including long-range weapons, is on the verge of complete defeat, said the Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Vasiliy Nebenzya at the Security Council session on Ukraine.

Nebenzja said that the Ukrainian army is on the verge of defeat despite the significant supply of weapons, including long-range ones, despite foreign mercenaries and the direct participation of the West in the conflict in Ukraine with the aim of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, RIA Novosti reported.

– In order to make sure of that, it is enough to study the military reports that indicate the rapid collapse of the fortification lines of Kyiv on the Eastern Front, the construction of which lasted almost eight years – Nebenzja emphasized.

The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, stated at the session of the Security Council that Russian President Vladimir Putin has violated so many international norms that he will not stop and that Russia can only be forced to make peace.
