Neretnieks wins the World Cup stage in Tallinn

This route gave points in the overall ranking of the World Cup in the Central European zone and in the Longines ranking of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). Athletes and their horses had to overcome obstacles up to 150 centimeters high on the highest route of the competition. A total of thirty-one duos participated in the Grand Prix, twenty-eight of which competed in the PK competition. Eight pairs, including Neretnieks and Quintes, qualified for the jump-off by doing the basic distance without penalty points. Five of these pairs completed the jumping route without penalty points, but Neretnieks managed to do it in the fastest time – 36.83 seconds. Immediately behind the Latvian duo, with 38.12 seconds, Abdurahmons Abdulajevs took second place with the horse Go Four It B from Uzbekistan. The Swede Victor Melins with his horse Turmina was in third place, finishing in 38.12 seconds. The athlete with this horse did not participate in the PK test.

Aleksandrs Shakurov with the horse Fillmore DB also started the Grand Prix, earning 8 penalty points on the route, Kristaps Neretnieks with another horse – Tender van de Kleiberg Z, finishing with 12 penalty points, Laura Penele with Let’s Fly Z and Dainis Ozols with the horse Gredzens, both from distance at withdrawal.

Kristaps Neretnieks with his horse Tender van de Kleiberg Z wins 2nd place on Friday’s highest route (CSI2*-W 140 cm). Nellie Anna Karklinis with Sir Schmidt won the ninth prize here, and Alexander Shakurov won the tenth prize with Fillmore DB. In the U-25 competition (130 cm) 9th place to Anna Annie Alsiina with the horse Kingston On Murray. CSI2*-W 135 cm in the route of two special phases Kristaps Neretnieks with Cinderella Cece 6th place, Laura Penele with Dundas VDM 11th place.

Aleksandrs Shakurov with Fillmore DB takes the prize in Saturday’s highest route (CSI2*-W, 145 cm). Nellie Anna Kārkliņa also completed the route without penalty points with Sir Schmidt.

In the Six Bar (150 cm) route, 3rd place was won by Kristaps Neretnieks with Cinderella Cece on Saturday.

In the route with 135 cm high hurdles, 2nd place for Kristaps Neretnieks with Cinderella Cece, 5th place for Laura Penele with Dundas VDM, in the route for young horses (125/130 cm) on Saturday, the award went to Terēze Oliņa with the seven-year-old Checkers. In the U-25 competition (135 cm), the 6th place was won by Elizabete Voika with the horse Ayers Rock.

On Sunday, in the U-25 competition (135 cm), 5th place for Anna Annia Alsiņa with the horse Kingston On Murray, on the other hand, 7th place for the rider with the six-year-old horse Nibolenky in the young horse route (125/130 cm). CSI2*-W 140 cm route for Kristaps Neretnieks with Cinderella Cece ninth place.
