His finger is cut WTF
As this last Internet user points out, Jinx’s finger seems to be cut. Enough to fuel the controversy. Very often, it is the hands that betray an image created with AI.
Faced with this controversy, Riot Games has spoken out. As reported Comic Bookdirector Alex Shahmir assured that the said banner was not created using artificial intelligence, and recalled that such an action went against the brand’s policy. “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have a strict stance: no AI for anything Arcane, as that would be completely disrespectful to the incredible artists who worked on the series. This image was an error and has since been removed. Thanks again for reporting it.”
This is not the first time that Netflix has been accused of generating visuals via AI. In April 2024, the streaming service was suspected of having manipulated an image in the documentary Jennifer’s Truths. Once again, it was the hands that were the cause of Internet users’ suspicions.
