Netflix is a streaming platform that probably needs no introduction. In the world of movie and series fans, it is usually the number one choice. However, you won’t be able to access the content without a subscription. At the same time, the subscription opens the door to many exclusive domestic and foreign titles. In addition to films and series, documentaries are also popular.

Netflix does not limit the number of devices

You can watch video content via mobile phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV. There are many ways to “tune in” to Netflix. Netflix does not limit the number of devices, but there are some rules.

You can have an unlimited number of devices connected to one Netflix account. However, this does not mean that you can watch content on them at the same time. The number of devices you can watch a movie or series on at the same time depends on your subscription. So how is it?

  • Basic plan: watching content on 1 device at the same time
  • Standard Plan: watching on 2 devices simultaneously
  • Premium plan: watching on 4 devices simultaneously

Watch offline

Netflix allows you to watch video content even offline. So you don’t necessarily need to be connected to the Internet. You download the movie or series you want to watch in advance and it is saved in your library. When you watch the downloaded content, you don’t need to be online at that time.

This function is useful if you want to save time, for example, when traveling by train. Wi-Fi connection or mobile data may drop out on a train or other means of travel. Thanks to the content stored offline, however, you can watch what you want undisturbed.

Does offline mode have limitations?

As we indicated, on any device you have connected to your Netflix account, you can also download content for offline viewing. However, Netflix limits the number of devices when downloading offline. The same restrictions apply to the number of simultaneous downloads as to the number of simultaneously monitored devices. This means that the number depends on what subscription you have.
