Netflix project with Helene Fischer collapsed

The streaming service Netflix wanted to film a documentary with the German pop star Helene Fischer. However, the project failed in the starting blocks.

The Streaming-Service Netflix had plans to make a documentary film with German pop star icon Helene Fischer. However, this project failed before it could really get started. When asked by the German Press Agency, a spokeswoman for the streaming provider said that the documentary project with Fischer had not worked out. “Bild” first reported on the failed project with the music star.

No official reason

Officially, Netflix had not disseminated any information about the documentary project with Helene Fischer in the past. But there was speculation in the media. The US streaming provider did not provide any information about the reasons why the documentary was canceled. A spokesman for Helene Fischer also initially did not want to comment.
