Acer announced its new Nitro gaming monitors: the XV3 series has four new members. Each display has an IPS panel with a response time of 1 ms, and keeping in mind the needs of gamers, the electronics also support NVIDIA G-Sync technology and VRR. The monitors are capable of large color space coverage, reaching 99 percent of the sRGB color space, and they also have a DisplayHDR 400 certificate.
In terms of image refresh, the maximum is 144-240 Hz, so the monitors satisfy all the needs of gamers. The range consists of two 27-inch and two 24.5-inch displays, as follows:
● Acer Nitro XV273U S: 27 col, WQHD, 165Hz
● Acer Nitro XV273 X: 27 col, Full HD, 240Hz
● Acer Nitro XV253Q X: 24,5 col, Full HD, 240Hz
● Acer Nitro XV253Q P: 24,5 col, Full HD, 144Hz.
The electronics of the monitors have several extra functions that are important to gamers: for example, you can choose from color profiles optimized for several game types, but you can also play tricks with the gamma in the case of the black level, so that it is easier to discover opponents hiding in the dark.
All members of the Nitro series are flicker-free: that is, the brightness control is not solved by flashing the LEDs, but by voltage control. Acer has not yet announced an exact release date and prices.
