New Bang & Olufsen headphones come with a crazy price tag

Bang & Olufsen introduces a new headphone: the Beoplay H100. The first thing that stands out is the hefty price tag, because those 1499 euros are not nothing.

For the price of a Beoplay H100, you can buy almost three AirPod Max headphones. This is reflected in the material, among other things. The ear cushions are made of lambskin and the knitted textile of the headband breathes. A glass touchpad is placed on the ear cups for control.

The sound quality should also be special and that has partly to do with the material, by using titanium drivers behind aluminum grilles. The H100 also has support for Dolby Atmos of course.

The headphones have ten microphones built into them to provide advanced active noise cancellation. The earcup has a large dial to allow more or less sound from your surroundings. Background noise and wind are also eliminated during calls, so that you can be clearly understood.

Modular

Interestingly, the headphones are modular, so you can replace the battery, headband, ear cushions and drivers with the greatest of ease. This should make the headphones last extra long.

The Beoplay H100 comes in three colours: Infinite Black, Hourglass Sand and Sunset Apricot. The 1499 euros also come with a five-year warranty if you register the headphones.
