The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has put the new 5 TL and 50 TL banknotes into circulation as of today.
According to the CBRT’s announcement on the subject, E9 Emission Group VIII. arrangement 50 TL and VII. 5 TL banknotes will be put into circulation as of 19 November 2024.
Compared to the previous issue banknotes of the E9 Emission Group currently in circulation, the VIII. arrangement 50 TL and VII. The signatures on the 5 TL banknotes are President Dr. Together with Fatih Karahan; Vice President Dr. on 50 TL banknotes. Osman Cevdet Akçay, Vice President Prof. on 5 TL banknotes. Dr. It was rearranged to belong to Hatice Karahan.
The banknotes in question will be exactly the same as the previous issues in terms of their size, obverse and reverse composition, and general quality and appearance, except for the signatures on them.
The new series of banknotes will be put into circulation together with the previous series of banknotes.
