Audi has launched two new basic versions of the electric A6 E-Tron. The most efficient of them promises a maximum autonomy of over 700 km.
The newest member of Audi’s electric model range receives two new basic versions, with declared ranges of up to 716 km. The Audi A6 e-tron is the German manufacturer’s second model to use the new PPE platform, after the Q6.
Launched this summer, the mid-range model now gets two new base versions. The first of these uses a single electric motor setup mounted on the rear axle. It produces 326 hp and can propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.
With a maximum battery charging power of 225kW, Audi says 10 – 80% runs take just 21 minutes for this version. With the battery charged, the rear-wheel drive version offers up to 627 km of autonomy for the Sportback and 598 km for the Avant.
The new all-wheel drive variant can go up to 716 km on a charge
The second version released for the Audi A6 E-Tron uses two electric motors, which gives the car all-wheel drive and a total of 462 hp. Not only are we dealing with a more powerful engine, but also with a larger battery, which gives the car a better autonomy compared to the rear-wheel drive version.
The car can also accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and can charge up to 270 kW. However, the 10 – 80% half remains the same.
The real difference is in the range, as this version of the Audi A6 E-Tron Sportback can travel up to 716 km on a single charge, according to the manufacturer. Those who opt for this configuration, but in the Avant version (estate), will have to settle for only 685 km of autonomy.
The new variants are now available to order. Prices for the A6 E-Tron start at €62,800 for the Sportback and €64,450 for the Avant. The A6 Sportback E-Tron Quattro costs 79,800 euros, and the price for the A6 Avant E-Tron Quattro is 81,450 euros.
