In the Central Bohemia region, new bus lines will be added from the beginning of December, including to other regions. For example, connections to the Ústí Region and to Mělník and Kladno will be improved, an interchange will be created in Nová Ves, a new connection between Kladno and Roudnicá nad Labem, and the express connection between Kralup nad Vltavou and Mělník will begin. Some connections will run more often, especially those going to Prague. The markings of some lines will also change. A number of them will be served by new carriers selected by the governor’s office in last year’s tender. More modern cars should transport passengers on a number of lines. Previously, timetables were changed in mid-December, this year they have been changed since December 1, Josef Holek from the governor’s office informed ČTK today.
“The news is planned precisely for the date of the start of the validity of the new contracts with the carriers. Colleagues from the Integrated Transport of the Central Bohemian Region (IDSK) and ROPID, as organizers of public transport in the Central Bohemian Region and Prague, convinced themselves at a recent joint meeting before the start of operations that the preparation of the carriers for their departure corresponds to the planned schedule,” said regional councilor for public transport Petr Borecký (STAN).
For example, lines 428 and 765 will be merged, creating a new direct connection on the route Sibřina – Říčany – Jesenice marked with the number 765. Among other things, lines 370, 372 on the route Prague – Odolena Voda – Postřižín and line 385 between Prague and Nupaky will run more frequently. The change in designation will concern, for example, line 592, which will be newly designated 708 and will travel on the new route Panenský Týnec – Zlonice – Slaný.
The interchange near Nová Ves will ensure connections between lines 413, 617 and 646, which will facilitate all types of transfers. This will create a number of new connections, or restore earlier ones, for example on the route Kladno – Mělník or Velvary – Litoměřice. Commuting to Prague from the municipalities on the border of the Central Bohemia and Ústí Regions will also be significantly improved and speeded up.
Line 650, which until now ends in Slané, will be extended. It will now go to Kladno, creating a completely new direct connection between Kladno – Smečno – Litoměřice. In inter-regional cooperation, the route of line 389 will also be extended by the section Louny – Chomutov. Lines will be added to the Pilsen and South Bohemia regions, for example 416, which will go on the route Prague – Blatná Sušice, and also line 428 Prague – Strakonice and others. Details of the changes are on the IDSK website.
