New Business Expansion, Kawasaki Indonesia Launches ATV Model

DAPURPACUID – PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) has begun to expand into a new business sector in marketing its product line, by introducing a 4-wheel offroad vehicle model.

Through the launch of two new products in the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle), UV (Utility Vehicle) and RUV (Recreational Utility Vehicle) categories, namely Brute Force 750 and MULE Pro-DXT FE.

It is believed that this business expansion will expand consumer choices in the Kawasaki product range, including those already sold in Indonesia.

In fact, these two models have been launched by Kawasaki globally, with the ability to devour dirt road surfaces and satisfy off-road hobbyists.

For your information, for 4-wheeled vehicles of the UV and RUV types or commonly called S x S (Side by side), this product is equipped with a minimum of two side by side seats and is enclosed in a roll cage structure.

The vehicle has at least four wheels and is operated by foot controls and a steering wheel. It is said that the Mule is Kawasaki’s first side-by-side vehicle.

Dept. Head of Sales & Promotion KMI, Michael C Tanadhi said, the presence of the two all-terrain vehicle products is to complement the choices for consumers in the country.

Michael also admitted that so far the company has focused its business expansion direction on providing a motorcycle product line in the sports segment.

“We will start a new business line in line with the company’s mission, which is to work for the pleasure and joy of everyone, where Kawasaki takes part in life,” he added.

Kawasaki Brute Force 750 is equipped with a pure 749 cc, 4 stroke, V-twin and SOHC engine. Also equipped with EPS (Electronic Power Steering) features, with a choice of 2WD or 4WD drive.

The above configuration produces a maximum power of 50 hp with a peak torque of up to 58 Nm, which is achieved when the engine speed reaches 4,750 rpm.

Meanwhile, the Kawasaki MULE PRO-DXT FE is equipped with a 993 cc, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine. Including EPS features and 2WD and 4WD drives that are embedded.

The combination of 23 hp of power and 52 Nm of maximum torque makes this ATV product, which is shipped directly (CBU) from America, have excellent cruising capabilities on offroad terrain.

For the colors offered, the Kawasaki MULE PRO-DXT FE only provides the Bright White option, while the Kawasaki Brute Force is Cypher Camo Gray (Matte).

From the price tag, Kawasaki Indonesia has just given its estimate where it is selling the Brute Force 750 for IDR 340 million, and the MULE PRO-DXT FE at a price of IDR 390 million.

Not only stopping at these two products, KMI has planned to introduce PWC (Personal Water Craft) products in the near future. (dpid/TH)
