Apple is constantly working on the next generations of its devices. Meanwhile, information about Apple’s plans for new MacBooks has appeared on the web.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple intends to sign a contract to supply compact camera modules (CCMs) to be used in MacBooks with M5 processors.
The order is to go to Sunny Optical, and production will take place in Vietnam. Interestingly, the company is the only supplier that can produce CCM combined with lenses. This will make the module a perfect fit for thinner laptops.
If the company meets Apple’s requirements, there is a chance that it will receive a contract to supply modules for iPhones and iPads.
