Volkswagen is changing the name of the absolute entry-level versions of the Volkswagen Polo, T-Cross, Taigo and T-Cross. Or rather: the brand gives those basic versions a name. While the loafers previously went through life without a name, they are now called ‘Edition’. The starting prices of the Edition versions are about €1,000 lower than the previous unnamed entry-level versions. In addition, the equipment of the Editions is better than that of the previous entry-level versions. All Edition versions have cruise control, parking sensors, Lane Assist, LED headlights, an 8-inch multimedia screen, digital instruments, air conditioning and a steering wheel with buttons. It’s not all party time at Volkswagen. For example, the Edition version misses the T-Roc Cabrio and other variants of the Polo, T-Cross, Taigo and T-Roc are slightly more expensive than they were as a result of the new, higher BPM rates.
