New cities on the list with access to T-Mobile fiber optics

If you have recently complained about the lack of access to T-Mobile fiber optics in your location, especially in the Silesian agglomeration, Lower Silesia or in Lesser Poland and the Lublin region – this will now change.

The T-Mobile agreement with Polish Open Fiber (PŚO), signed last year, has now enabled the operator to expand access to the fiber optic offer for its customers, also to include lines using HFC technology.

As we know, much of the infrastructure of UPC, taken over by P4 (a shareholder in PŚO), was provided on such lines – with probably the widest availability in the country when it comes to cable operators. Thanks to this extension, T-Mobile fiber optics will significantly increase their coverage among households throughout Poland – including in locations where T-Mobile’s fixed-line services have not been available so far.

Moreover, in towns such as Tychy, Siemianowice Śląskie or Zawiercie, almost all residents will have access to high-speed Internet from T-Mobile. The same applies to T-Mobile’s services reaching Lower Silesia – Lubin or Małopolska, where other districts and housing estates of Krakow are covered by the operator’s stationary services.

This extension of coverage is important for the inhabitants of these regions, especially for those customers of the operator who want to purchase combined services from T-Mobile, i.e. in combination with television or a mobile subscription.

Currently, T-Mobile’s offer for fiber optics only consists of three packages – with a speed limit of up to 300 Mb/s at the price of PLN 65 per month (PLN 45 for T-Mobile customers), up to 600 Mb/s at the price of PLN 75 per month (PLN 55 for T-Mobile customers) and up to 900 Mb/s for PLN 95 per month (PLN 75 for T-Mobile customers).

As of today, T-Mobile fiber optics reach 8.3 million households across the country – including 3.8 million thanks to the agreement with Polskie Fiber Optic Open (PŚO).
