Last week we reported that in the center of Daugavpils on the night of October 23 there was a conflict with the use of weapons.
Today, October 26, a video from a surveillance camera appeared on the portal kompromat.lv, which captured the incident. Another car drove up to the Mercedes car, in which there were two men – well-known promoter Sergei Parfenov in the city and the driver, from which two masked people got out.
One of the attackers was armed with a sawed-off shotgun and, when the Mercedes driver tried to drive away, a masked man shot him.
The police have launched a criminal trial into the incident and an investigation is underway. The police refused to provide broader comments in the interests of the investigation.
