The investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against Saran for allegedly encouraging illegal betting continues.
In this context, today the Istanbul 8th Criminal Court of Peace ruled to impose a judicial control measure in the form of a “ban on going abroad” against Saran.

Sadettin Saran testified within the scope of the illegal betting investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Regarding the news in some media outlets that Saran was detained, the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office said, “In an investigation carried out by our Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the defense of the said person was taken on December 26, 2024 regarding the allegation that an illegal betting advertisement was made in a match broadcast made through the media group owned by the person in question. “There is no detention situation.” He made the statement.
