1. Da: Prophecy

In the Dune films we follow the story of Paul Atreides, but there was a long history before that. Set thousands of years earlier, this new HBO series focuses on the Bene Gesserit: a group of women with supernatural powers who manipulate political factions in the background to achieve their goals.

2. Landman

The umpteenth series by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown) will be released this week on SkyShowtime. Landman is all about oil platforms in West Texas. A top cast has been brought together for this, including Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia and Ali Larter.

3. Interior Chinatown

Taika Waititi has a new series coming out this week on Disney Plus. Interior Chinatown is about Willis Wu who feels like a meaningless background character until he witnesses a crime and has to solve the case together with a detective.

4. Cruel Intentions

In Cruel Intentions you follow young people who do everything to end up on top of the social pyramid, including seducing the vice president’s daughter. The series is based on the film of the same name.

Cruel Intentions is from Thursday, November 21 on Prime Video.

5. The Benefits Affair

We have all heard about the benefits affair, in which tens of thousands of parents were wrongly suspected of fraud and therefore had to pay back benefits. This film shows how devastating that was from a family’s perspective.

6. A Man on the Inside

From the people behind the hilarious The Bad Place, this week watch the first season of A Man on the Inside. Ted Denson plays a retired man who is hired to go undercover at a retirement home.
