In accordance with the National Architectural Strategy for the period from 2023 to 2035, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announced a tender for the development of guidelines for the implementation of this strategy. The subject of the procurement is also the development of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy, for the period 2023-2025. year.

The first batch of the tender includes the development of guidelines with a methodology for assessing the state and perspective of improving the quality of architecture, context and place identity for urban settlements, according to the eKapija portal.
The focus is on assessing the existing state of the quality of architecture, place identity, building stock and public spaces through the analysis of selected local governments. As part of this, case studies in 3-5 different local governments are planned in order to look at the problems and define the criteria for quality assessment.
Assessment of the state of the quality of architecture, context and place identity for urban settlements needs to be done on the basis of contemporary theories and current European policies “New construction cultures”.
The second lot of the tender includes the development of guidelines for the identification of types of rural settlements and the characterization of landscapes at the level of local self-governments and regions in order to be able to work on the structural foundations of rural settlements, strategies and action plans and programs, as well as rural development projects, writes eKapija.
The tender states that the drafting of documents should be based on the vision and goals of the National Architectural Strategy, which was adopted last year, as well as on the conclusions and recommendations from the Analysis of Regulations and the Practice of Drafting Urban Plans.
The estimated value of the project amounts to 3.16 million dinarswhile the deadline for submitting offers is November 25.
