Nissan launches on the Italian market Interstar, the large van that aims to offer versatility and practicality of use thanks also to the presence of two engine options, diesel or 100% electric and a wide range of variants and sizes. With a maximum rating (Platinum) in EuroNCAP tests and Nissan warranty 5 years or 160 thousand km and 8 years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery in the 100% electric version.
The range of the new Nissan Interstar is available through the dealer network with prices starting from 35.200 euro for the diesel Van versions and from 48,800 euros for the EV Van versions (prices VAT and road tax are excluded).
Innovative and aerodynamic design
The new Nissan Interstar is characterized by an imposing but elegant design inherited from its “brother” Renault Master, a load capacity among the best in the category and a wide range of customizations in the Van and Chassis Cab versions. The pride of this new generation is his aerodynamics which has reduced air resistance by 20% compared to the previous one.

The cabin of the new Interstar, like that of the master from which it derives, was completely redesigned to improve space, comfort and practicality, all enriched by a more modern design and on-board technologies such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Maneuverability has also been improved through a reduced turning circle compared to previous versions (up to -1.2 m).

Choose from both electric and diesel
The new Nissan Interstar EV in particular is available with 87 kWh battery which guarantees a maximum autonomy of 460 km. With the 130 kW direct current fast charging it is possible to accumulate 252 km of travel in just 30 minutes. There is also a 40kWh battery available, which offers a range of approximately 200 km. With alternating current charging (11 kW for the 40 kWh battery and 22 kW for the 87 kWh battery) 100% battery charge is achieved in approximately 4 hours.

The new Nissan Interstar can also be equipped with M920 diesel engine in the versions with 105, 130, 150 and 170 HP of power and torque values of 330, 350, 360 and 380 Nm respectively, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox or the new 9-speed automatic transmission. An engine characterized by low consumption of up to 7.4 litres/100 km, reduced by as much as 1.5 litres/100 km compared to the previous version.

Wide choice of configurations
The 1,312 mm wide side door gives access to the loading compartment from 10.8 to 14.8 cubic meters of volume. In the version with a 35 quintal GVW, the New Nissan Interstar EV has a payload ranging from 1,394 kg of the Van to the 1,450 kg of the chassis. In the similar diesel version, the payload ranges from 1,447 kg of the Van to 1,704 kg of the chassis. Towing capacities vary depending on the versions and range from a minimum of 1,500 kg to a maximum of 2,500 kg.

The new Interstar is also available with different standard setupssuch as the fixed or tipping open body or the closed body, in different sizes, heights and useful load capacity, in the 33 and 35 quintal diesel versions and the 35 and 40 quintal 100% electric versions.

Lots of security technologies
All versions of the new Nissan Interstar are equipped with a wide range of safety features, including emergency brakingthe lane keeping system, the traffic sign recognition system, the driver drowsiness warning and the tire pressure monitoring system. There is also Trailer Sway Assist which assists the driver when using a trailer and is part of the technological equipment.

The vehicle is equipped with a system that guarantees optimal braking power regardless of the weight of the vehicle. Furthermore, Interstar’s reaction time for the emergency braking it is halved compared to the previous generation models, to offer drivers greater peace of mind and safety behind the wheel.
