New M4 MacBook Pros disassembled by iFixit

Following an unwritten tradition, iFixit employees took apart new Apple devices. This time they focused their attention on the latest MacBook Pro.

According to employees, the latest model is structurally almost identical to the MacBook Pro with the M3 system. This means that Apple has made virtually no design changes.

The computer has a larger radiator, which distributes heat better. Replacing the battery requires disassembling the trackpad, while getting to the motherboard is “incredibly complicated and tedious” due to all the screws and cables that interfere with this process.

People who would like to make repairs on their own can use Apple’s guides.
