New partnership between 3 and GlobalConnect brings together the best of 5G and fiber in a common goal; to give Danish companies the best and safest foundation for their digitalisation.
A new partnership between the telecommunications company 3 and the fiber group GlobalConnect will cover the total network needs of especially small and medium-sized companies.
It is the first time that the two parties have formally joined forces.
“Many in the industry are expanding the business more and more. We believe in the value of being the customers’ best partner in what we are each best at. The collaboration with 3 is a natural extension of that belief, because we can combine the best of both worlds,” says Yan Zheng, SVP of the SME market at GlobalConnect Group.
3 has the market’s best 5G mobile broadband, while GlobalConnect has the best dedicated fiber solutions for businesses. Together, it solves companies’ need for employees and users to be connected quickly and securely, regardless of where they are.
At the same time, it is an advantage for especially small and medium-sized companies to reduce complexity by having few suppliers and few contact points.
“We offer companies a complete solution that makes it simple and also cheaper for them. By linking the best of the top shelf of mobile and fiber together, we make it easy for customers to get the products and expertise they need to develop their businesses digitally,” says Marie-Louise Back, Chief Commercial Officer of 3.
Partnership tested at Denmark’s national arena
The partnership is built on experiences from collaboration on some larger projects, which have emphasized the value of a comprehensive solution for customers. This can be seen particularly clearly in the lightning-fast internet connection that visitors to the Park have been able to experience over the past year. 3 and GlobalConnect have in close collaboration built Europe’s strongest and fastest stadium network.
With the partnership, GlobalConnect and 3 are therefore ready to meet all the network needs of everything from the smaller company that needs an internet connection and mobile subscriptions, to the medium-sized company with a more complex digital infrastructure and larger capacity needs.
