Med six weeks to the US election, Kamala Harris is headed for a new role in the presidential race. She started as an underdog and became a slim favourite. But now a new opinion poll indicates from NBC Newsthat there may be another role change on the way.
In the new poll, published on Sunday, Harris distances himself from Trump and now has a comfortable lead of five percentage points. Thus, 49 percent of the voters surveyed indicate that they will vote for Harris, while 44 percent will vote for Trump.
