Xiaomi’s new flagship appears in pictures even before the official presentation.
Actually, Xiaomi will not showcase the new models Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro until an event on October 29, something that has been confirmed by the company’s boss Lu Weibing. Now, however, both official product images of the two models and a bit of information via the publication have appeared GSMArena.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is 8.35 millimeters thin and weighs 213 grams, which is 10 grams lighter than the predecessor 14 Pro. It should also feature a “Micro Quad Curved” display covered by the company’s second-generation Longjing glass. In addition, the camera module must have a ceramic design and be developed in collaboration with Leica.
The regular Xiaomi 15 gets a screen of 6.36 inches, but what looks a little bigger are the thin edges around the screen, which should be 1.38 millimeters. Here, too, the camera module was developed together with Leica.
Both models will also get an ultrasound-based fingerprint reader under the screen, which is usually both a faster and more reliable technology than optical fingerprint readers.
