Resolution Run: New Year’s humanitarian run on Ada Ciganlija
The second New Year’s charity run Resolution Run will be held on Saturday, December 28 in Ada Ciganlija, but also throughout Serbia, organized by the sports association “SAMO HRABRO”.
Trka Resolution Run and this year will have a great humanitarian character. Part of the entry fee from each participant will be donated to the six-member Veličković family from Čoka, in cooperation with the organization “Serbs for Serbs”.
Dušan Nedić, one of the founders of the “SAMO HRABRO” association, said on the occasion of the New Year’s race: “We want to run into the New Year together, full of breath, in the best mood, ready and determined for new endeavors. Let this race be the beginning of a great celebration and the announcement of a great year. We expect more than 1500 participants in a great mood, lots of Santas, a great party after the race, and much more. For each registered participant, our association will donate 500 dinars to the endangered Veličković family from Čoka. I invite everyone who likes holiday races, a great time and doing good things to join us, either at Ada Ciganlija or throughout Serbia”.

Participants can run or walk on Ada Ciganlija, with the option of signing up for 1 mile, 5 or 10 km, or a 5 km Nordic walk. Start packs are distributed before the event, while medals and trophies are awarded to the fastest participants after the race. Also, all those interested can finish the race at any location in Serbia, with the choice of a distance of 1 mile, 5 or 10 km. After registration closes on December 16, the start package and finisher’s medal will be sent to the participant’s address. The race must be run on December 28th and proof of the result sent via email by the end of the day. The results of all participants will be announced the next day.
Starter pack includes chipped start number, gifts from partners, finisher’s medal, donation of 500 dinars, race t-shirt (for payments until December 2), party after the race, great photos as well as excellent organization of the entire event.
