Piko 1K (Full UWHD/1080p for CZK 2,990) a Piqo Pro 2K (Quad HD/1440p for CZK 3,590) are available in two specifications. Both include the Emergency SOS function, which is supported by high-precision 10Hz GPS and G-sense+ technology, which automatically alerts emergency services and provides accurate location information in the event of an accident where the driver loses consciousness.
In addition, both Piqo models offer innovative technologies first introduced in the award-winning Nextbase iQ smart car camera. The new “Lite” variants offer basic functions and features, and at a fraction of the price, they provide limited versions of the features of the world’s first truly intelligent dash cam.
Guardian Lite mode it monitors the vehicle when someone else is driving it (such as a family member, attendant or mechanic) and automatically saves time-stamped videos with GPS coordinates in case of monitored events, which can be accessed via a new integrated app when connected to local Wi-Fi. So if your mechanic exceeds the set speed limit, the record is automatically saved and you are notified. Voice activated feature Witness Mode Lite in the event of an incident, it immediately shares the vehicle footage with a designated emergency contact if the camera is connected to Bluetooth.
The full list of features includes:
- Guardian Lite mode – Set the speed parameters and geographical boundaries of your car’s movement, so that if your car is used by a friend or mechanic, or when it moves outside the specified area, the video files in the Piqo camera will be automatically protected by deletion.
- Witness Mode Lite – A voice-activated feature that immediately alerts an emergency contact or a designated third party in the event of an accident if the camera is connected to Bluetooth when activated.
- Emergency SOS – Nextbase’s exclusive life-saving service automatically alerts emergency services with location and vital information in the event of a serious accident.
- Voice control – Native voice control from Nextbase allows you to directly control the Piqo car camera without any problems.
- Smart Parking – Automatically starts recording when a parked car shakes and alerts you when you’re back in range of your car.
