“Nimbus” will not participate in digitization

SARAJEVO – The Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Edin Forto, today signed an annex to the contract for the digitization project with the companies “Odašiljači i veze” from Zagreb and “Nimbus Innovations” from Banjaluka, which was created after the sanctioning and shutdown of “Sirius 2010”.

The ministry states that with the annex to the contract, “Transmitters and Connections” assume all obligations for the implementation of the contract, and that everything was approved by the BiH Attorney’s Office, to which they submitted evidence of the fulfillment of the terms of the contract. They also state that they will submit a new bank guarantee for realization within 15 days.

Portal CAPITAL today announced by mistake that the newly founded company “Nimbus Innovations” will participate in digitization after signing this contract annex.

The error occurred due to an imprecise communication we received from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to which we had to carry out a subsequent check of the information.

It turned out that a contract was signed with “Transmitters and connections” that will work on digitization, and that “Nimbus” signed that it was withdrawing from this business on behalf of “Sirius”.

This company had two accounts closed two days ago. However, they are trying to find salvation in FBiH, where they have an account opened today.

Vujić is the sole owner of “Invictus”, “Nimbus” has its accounts closed

Banks in RS closed their accounts

“Nimbus” was created by merging with “Sirius”, and Nemanja Reljin is listed as the founder, while the directorship went to Radmila Bojanić. Although they immediately opened six bank accounts in Srpska, all of them were closed within a short period of time.

As a reminder, “Sirius”, like several others, was placed on OFAC’s “blacklist” on June 18 due to, as stated, providing support to the sanctioned president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and his family.

The companies “Infinity International Grupe”, “Prointer ITSS”, “Alternativne Televizije” and its new companies “K-2 Audio”, “Una TV” ended up under sanctions (which was then immediately shut down, but primarily due to a minus of 8.5 million), as well as “Kaldera”.

They initially tried to find salvation in the opening of new legal entities in which they named former directors as owners, but even that did not yield results because almost all banks in Republika Srpska refused to open accounts for them or closed them immediately after opening.

The workers of “Infinity”, “Prointer” and “Sirius”, Bojan Vujić, Nemanja Reljin, Radmila Bojanić and Vladimir Perišić, first founded the “Invictus Technology Group”, which was joined by the workers of “Prointer”.

However, it did not last long because only a month later they announced that they would lay off most of the workers CAPITAL wrote earlier.

Vujić then said that “Invictus Technology Group” has problems with banks, which are apparently afraid of American sanctions and refuse to open accounts for them.

“Invictus” lays off workers

Salvation found in federal banks

Due to problems with opening accounts in domestic banks, newly founded companies sought salvation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they started opening accounts.

Thus, “Invictus”, “Elpring”, founded by “Kaldera” workers, “Nimbus” and “VAM”, founded by “Alternative Television” workers, opened accounts in Sarajevo banks.

For now, “Prointer ITSS” has only two deposit accounts for collateral in the Republic of Srpska.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is the last country in Europe that has not yet digitized the RTV signal and is almost 20 years late with this process.
