They must practice the noble virtue of patience longer than planned.
This year, two events are expected to have the biggest impact on the video game market: the release of Grand Theft Auto VI and the debut of the Switch 2. The new hybrid (dockable and portable) console will certainly be snapped up in no time, even if, according to rumors, its performance falls short of the previous generation Xbox One X, and is more comparable to that of the PlayStation 4 Pro.
And with that in mind, Nintendo can afford to irritate prospective buyers with new hardware announcements, none of which are the Switch successors that millions have been waiting for. Recently, the console manufacturer announced the official LEGO Game Boy, and before that, Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo.
The latter is an interactive alarm clock that pulls us back to reality from the field of dreams with sounds inspired by popular games, even by reacting to our body movements (if it detects from the movement that we have woken up, it considers its task completed). In addition, Alarmo, offered for 99 euros, also has sleep monitoring and sleep support functions.
Nintendo Sound Clock: #Alarm will remain a timed exclusive offer for Nintendo Switch Online members until early March, postponed from mid-January. After that, it will continue to be available only on #MyNintendoStore in the UK and Ireland. Thank you for your understanding. pic.twitter.com/wyNbdMkpE9

In the first round, only those who had a Nintendo Switch Online membership and user account could take advantage of it. Alarmo would have been available to other interested parties from mid-January, but the manufacturer unexpectedly announced that it would postpone the exclusivity period in Europe until the beginning of March. At the same time, he also announced that while we will be able to find the product at some resellers on the continent, those living in the United Kingdom and Ireland can only order it from the My Nintendo Store webshop.
