NIS company for new energy of future experts

NIS COMPANY, one of the most desirable employers in Serbia, organized today a conference attended by more than 350 young people, giving them the opportunity to gain new knowledge and contacts at the beginning of their business career.

The meeting at the Business Center of NIS in Belgrade was attended by graduates and master’s students of domestic faculties who have so far applied for the competition of the “NIS Energy” program through which the company hires young people without work experience.

The goal of the conference was to empower as many young people as possible for the labor market, to hear the experiences and lectures of experts from various fields, and to learn about the experiences of older colleagues. At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees were addressed by Alisa Evsina, HR director of the NIS company, who spoke about her experiences from the beginning of her career, the importance of constant improvement and learning, as well as the successes she achieved in her business journey.

Also speaking at the conference were Sonja Ćetković, director of Infostud, Nikola Milosavljević and Miljana Nikolić from the HR factory, Katarina Šonjić Vujić, employer branding consultant and Tanja Šokčić, business consultant and trainer. Those present could also hear the experiences of senior colleagues from the NIS company who participated in the panel entitled “Every expert was a beginner”, which is also the slogan of the fifth season of the “NIS Energy” program.

This year’s NIS program competition is open until October 20, and 25 selected candidates will get the job. They sign a one-year employment contract with the company and start working in January 2025. After the end of the program, participants are offered the possibility of permanent employment at NIS, if there is a mutual interest in this. In the previous four seasons of “NIS Energy”, 80 young people got a job at NIS.

During the duration of the program, participants have many opportunities to gain experience and knowledge in different organizational units in the oil industry. All candidates will have the support of their mentor who will help them adapt to the new environment, but also guide them through a pre-created development plan until the end of the program. After six months in the company, participants will have the opportunity to prepare a project from the chosen field that they will present to the management of their sector at the end of the program. Those interested can see more about the “NIS Energy” program on the website of the NIS company.
