If industrial companies are attracted to Muuga and Paldiski industrial parks, it will be difficult to provide them with green energy, said Valdo Kalm, Chairman of the Board of Tallinn Port.
There must be more green energy and at a normal price, no industrial company wants to hear anything about oil shale energy, Kalm said in the morning program of Äripää radio. “Everyone is asking for green energy,” he said.
The Port of Tallinn uses green energy for its own operations, but it could also be offered to others. There is a big lack of green energy in industrial parks, which is needed by the companies operating there. The construction of the Paldiski wind farm and the construction of the maintenance pier, which should be completed by the beginning of 2026, continue to develop.
Kalm also talked about the results of the listed company, which the company forecasts for this year, and how the investments of the Port of Tallinn are going.
