ACCORDING to the seasonal forecast of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ), a milder and averagely wet December awaits us.
December 2024 starts cloudy in Serbia. On Sunday, December 1, it will be dry only in the extreme north, in other regions with rain, in hilly and mountainous areas with snow with further increase in snow cover. It will be dry at the beginning of next week, and new precipitation is expected on Wednesday evening in the north and west, and during the night on Thursday and Thursday in some places and in other regions, according to the RHMZ website.
The weather forecast for the coming days predicts frequent precipitation and snow in hilly and mountainous regions, especially on November 29, but according to the seasonal forecast, December will be milder and without any major temperature fluctuations.
The mean minimum air temperature in December will be one to two degrees above the long-term average. In Belgrade and the surrounding area, the average minimum air temperature in December is predicted to be around 2.2ºC.
The mean maximum air temperature in December will also be with values on average higher by 1.0ºC to 2.0ºC compared to the perennial. In Belgrade and the surrounding area, the average maximum air temperature during December will be around 8.3ºC.
Although Ivan Ristic announced snow for the New Year, the monthly amount of precipitation during December will be within the limits of the multi-year average, with values up to 5 mm lower than the multi-year average. In Belgrade and the surrounding area, the total amount of precipitation in December will be around 49 mm, according to the RHMZ.
According to the charts showing the expected weather conditions from day to day, it is not exactly possible to count on an impressive snow cover, even in the mountainous regions.
